Apple Watch Series 0:
The original apple watch. First shown in 2014 and originally came into sale in 2015. Released in 4 variants, the standard watch, sports, Hermes and edition. Available in 2 sizes, 38mm and 42mm.
Apple Watch Series 1:
Released in 2016 alongside the series 2, the series 1 only came in one variant but two sizes. Available in 38 and 42mm.
Apple Watch Series 2:
Also released in 2016, the Apple watch series revived the 4 variants of the original apple watch. However, the apple watch sport was replaced with the Nike apple watch. Available in 2 sizes: 38mm and 42mm.
Apple Watch Series 3:
Although the features were updated, the series 3 (released in 2017) comes in a very similar package to the series 2. Available in 38mm and 42mm.
Apple Watch Series 4:
For the first time, the size of the apple watch changed wit the release of the apple watch series 4. The standard, Nike and Hermes versions were released in 40mm and 44mm sizes.
Apple Watch Series 5:
2019s new apple watch, the series 5, follows the same sizing as the series 4. Available in 40mm and 44mm.
Apple Watch Series 6:
The breakthrough health apple watch. The series 6 introduced a blood oxygen monitor to the apple watch. The series 6 was available in 40 and 44mm.
Apple Watch SE:
Made for those that don't need the latest and greatest apple watch. The SE offers some major benefits over previous generations (such as battery life) but without some features which some users may not use. The SE is available in 40mm and 44mm.
Apple Watch Series 7:
With the release of the series 7 Apple watch in 2021. Apple changed something that they hadn't changed for 3 years. The changed the size of the watch from 40mm and 44mm to 41mm and 45mm.
Apple Watch Series 8:
The latest and greatest Apple Watch. The series 8 was released in September 2022. Wit a load of new features in the same size package of the series 7. Available in 41mm and 45mm.
